Strengthening the governance of return migration in the EU. 

Project Outcomes

  • Analysis of policies including intergovernmental return frameworks, implementation mechanisms, alternative return policies and monitoring practices of return operations.
  • Creation of the Migration Return Policy Index (MIREX) to improve measurements of Europe’s return policies with pilots in 10 countries.
