About

Creating a replicable EU-wide model for humanitarian resettlement. 

Project Outcomes

  • Resettlement of 1,281 vulnerable refugees from Lebanon and Ethiopia to Italy and France through humanitarian visas. 
  • Creation of a Replicable model for Humanitarian Corridors, supported by a multilingual implementation handbook. 
  • Provision of Pre-departure and post-arrival support, including language training, legal aid, education, and vocational integration. 
  • Creation of a web platform to manage beneficiary data and monitor procedures. 
  • Training for 300+ sponsor representatives and conducted EU-wide dissemination events. 
  • Promotion of private sponsorship as a scalable, low-cost model for refugee integration, with potential to influence EU migration policy.
