Exploring ways of working with refugees and asylum seekers in order to rethink integration models. 

Project outcomes

  • Participants gained practical skills (e.g., advocacy, public speaking, teaching) and a stronger sense of agency. 
  • Involvement improved confidence, reduced isolation, and supported emotional wellbeing through purposeful engagement. 
  • Projects fostered meaningful relationships within and across communities, reducing barriers to employment and services. 
  • Refugees influenced public opinion and policies by sharing lived experiences directly with decision-makers.
