- Ensure timely, flexible access to information.
- The inclusion, participation and meaningful involvement of refugees throughout the integration process is fundamental.
- Comprehensive long-term integration strategies must be government-led and engage with authorities and host communities.
- Civil society organizations and legal pathways (such as emergency relocation and resettlement programs) play an important role in favouring integration early on.
- Barriers to accessing family reunification have a huge impact on integration.
